Fatma and Mariam, sisters with master’s degrees in Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technologies, initially sought to improve life for people with disabilities. However, they realized that the advanced technologies they designed were only accessible to a small fraction of the disabled population. Inspired to make a broader impact, they shifted careers and founded Little Purple Door—a center focused on inclusive growth for all children. With a deep love for children and a commitment to social inclusion, they aim to create a nurturing space where every child, regardless of ability, feels valued and capable. Through play and learning, Little Purple Door fosters empathy, accessibility, and a more inclusive society.
"At Little Purple Door, we promise to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is valued and encouraged to explore their creativity. We are committed to delivering high-quality, engaging programs that foster growth, learning, and social skills while ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Our goal is to empower every child to reach their full potential and to be a trusted partner for families in their journey of discovery and development. "
